Tavira is hosting the 24th edition of its Outdoor Film Festival between July 18 and 28 and August 8 and 18 at the Cloisters of the Convento do Carmo.

In total, 23 films will be shown, all critically acclaimed and honoured at film festivals worldwide. This year, five restaurants in Tavira will prepare special snacks for ten sessions.

The opening night of the 24th edition of the open-air cinema will be on July 18 and will feature a screening of “Perfect Days” by Wim Wenders.

On July 19, the Cineclube de Tavira will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a Moçoilas concert at 21h00, followed by the screening of the Vietnamese film “Inside the Yellow Cocoon”, written and directed by Thien An Phạm.

In the first few days, highlights include the presence of director Jaione Camborda on July 24 for the presentation of her film “The Rye Horn”, winner of the Golden Shell at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
