An 82-year-old British woman died this morning in the indoor swimming pool of Sagres’ luxurious design hotel, Memmo Baleeira.
The woman’s body was discovered floating in the water of the pool by a member of staff, reports noticiasaominuto, stressing that sources at the hotel have refused to give out any information.
The news service quotes PJ police as saying crime is not suspected.
The body, believed to have been discovered around 8.30am, has been removed from the hotel and transported to Portimão for autopsy.
