Portimão’s second Rota do Petisco (Tapas Route) will be held this year from August 31 to October 14.
Associação Teia D’Impulsos, organisers of the event, is inviting those looking to discover some authentic Algarve cuisine to embark on a gastronomic journey that will last 45 days.
A total of 40 restaurants and eateries will be participating in the Rota do Petisco, featuring menus created specifically for the event including savoury tapas and typical regional sweets.
A novelty this year will be the launch of a vast programme of cultural events, including arts and crafts and music, which will complement the gastronomic experience.
A plate of tapas and drink will cost €2.50 while a dessert and drink will cost €2.
