New York’s Mercer’s Dairy is promoting a new wine-flavoured ice cream, available for online orders.
Containing 5% alcohol, the concept is presented as mixing “delicious ice cream with excellent wine to create an elegant adult dessert”.
It is available in a variety of flavours: Cherry Merlot (Bordeaux cherries with Merlot); Chocolate Cabernet (bittersweet chocolate with Cabernet wine); Peach White Zinfandel (fresh peaches blended with a White Zinfandel wine); Port (award-winning Ruby Port); Red Raspberry Chardonnay (raspberry sauce and Chardonnay wine); and last but not least Royal Riesling (Riesling wine).
