The Algarve Resident, in association with yacht brokerage and service company Bluewater Algarve, is offering one lucky reader and a friend the chance to jump on board and take part in the Fun Sailing weekend on the waters around Lagos Marina.
The event, which coincides with the 15th anniversary of Lagos Marina and the 10th anniversary of Bluewater Algarve, takes place over July 3, 4 and 5.
The winner will truly become part of the exciting event as they take to the seas as one of the crew in a race, followed by entry to the final night party to be held at Duna Beach on July 5 at Meia Praia.
To be in with a chance of taking your place as a member of the crew then simply answer the following question:

Email your answer to news@algarveresident.com and ensure that you include both your full name and the full name of the person accompanying you on the day. Any entry without a telephone number cannot be accepted.
All entries will be placed into a prize draw and the first to be drawn will be the winner.
The closing date for the competition is Friday, June 26 at midday and the winner will be informed by telephone on the same day with an announcement made in the July 3 edition of the Algarve Resident.

It costs 50 euros for skipper and boat to take part in the Bluewater Lagos Summer Fun Sail, and this includes berthing in Lagos Marina for the duration of the event, race t-shirts, drinks during the race results and entry to party at Duna Beach. Transport from the marina and back will be available on the night. Crew or social tickets cost 40 euros and also give access to all of the above.
