ABSOLUTE FURNITURE and accessory store, based in Ayamonte, has opened a show property in Cabanas, the first of several planned for the Cabanas and Tavira area.
Director Tom Willis said that due to growth in these areas and frequent requests from new home buyers to meet to discuss their furniture and management needs, it seemed logical to set up a show property.
This gives the customer an ideal opportunity to see some of the furniture ranges Absolute is able to supply and the level of finish they are able to provide.
Martin Thompson, Tom’s partner, said: “We seem to be in either Cabanas or Tavira every other day and having the first show apartment there is a real bonus. So many clients arrive wondering where to start, and then spend days searching around for furnishings and accessories needed to complete their home.
“As we have been furnishing holiday homes since 2003, and also operate a successful management company, we understand what is required to prepare a property ready for rental.
Complete packages
“We have in-house fitters who install lights, curtain poles, shower screens/cubicles and bathroom fittings,” he said, “We have staff who shorten and fit curtains and cleaners who prepare for your arrival. A property can be ready in around four weeks.”
Tom said that most clients still want to purchase a reasonably good quality furniture package as they understand the property has to be welcoming and comfortable for their guests. However, due to the current financial climate, some are trying to make cut backs or miss items off.
As a business, Absolute has had to ensure they can still supply great complete packages at very reasonable prices which include everything people need ready for rental.
The company has also just released their new We furnish You Finish packages, supplying furniture and mattresses yet allowing the owners to organise other smaller items themselves.
They are also expanding their property management business into the Cabanas/ Tavira areas and yearly fees start from 550 euros for a one or two bed apartment.
