MY DAUGHTER is ill today, that is to say… she did not go to school.
She attends a local Portuguese school and the timetable is impressive. With gymnastics, music and English lessons included, her schooldays start at 9am, and four times a week they don’t finish until 6pm!
I know it is not as it should be, but when she is ‘ill’, I sometimes allow her to stay at home for a day. We play with the Escola Virtual on the computer – a computer game covering the whole curriculum per year. Very useful.
