Green way at airport

BRITISH HOLIDAY company Jet2.com is the first to take advantage of the new Green Way scheme at Faro airport.

The scheme allows passengers that are part of the programme to use priority service routes in the airport, increasing the speed at check in and through security at the airport.

The Green Way scheme is being run by ANA at Faro, Porto and Lisbon airports and has been in use since June this year.

Jet2 have been using Faro airport since 2003 and fly between the Algarve and the English airports of Blackpool, Leeds and Manchester.

It has been predicted that Jet2 will be bringing 200,000 passengers to Faro airport this summer and all priority passengers flying with Jet2 will be entitled to take advantage of the Green Way system at the airport. Currently the scheme is not available to independent travellers.
