Michael Jackson has been named one of The World’s Worst Hotel Guests.
Jackson was included on the list on the website www.concierge.com due to his negligent behaviour in hanging his nine-month-old son Prince Michael II over the balcony of a hotel in Berlin in 2002. The website also criticises Jackson for forcing the World Music Awards to book nearly the entire London’s Hempel Hotel before his show in 2006. He also asked staff to raise an 18 foot wall on the first floor to guard his privacy. In 2007, Jackson allegedly requested bowls of Haribo gummy sweets, a large mirror and a giant xylophone for his stay at another London hotel.
