Apparently, glamour is in this season but it’s been so long since anyone really made an effort, so what can we do to fit in with the new crowd?
Starting from top to bottom, we should steer clear of bleaching hair and get those tresses looking as glossy as possible. Soft, subtle forties style waves are ‘in’, as are slinky soft bobs and soft up-dos. Gloss and shine are the key words.
To get that old-school look, celebrating both the pre-war and silent-screen eras, pencilled brows are a must.
Eyes are sultry, dark and mysterious with nude lips or vice versa!
Dry skin is a big no no… get it looking and feeling soft and smooth. There are countless products available on the market including the skincare range by Eucerin (available from pharmacies), which offers products to calm, heal, repair, and replenish your skin. Eucerin is fragrance, alcohol and colourant free and helps to increase the skin’s moisture content to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and supple.
Legs should be fuzz-free so you can wear your opaque stockings with pride (knowing they’re fuzzy underneath is really very un-glamorous dahling!). Don your favourite sexy lingerie et voilá … the glamourpuss has entered the building.
