McCanns to hire campaign manager
On day 41 of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, it has been announced that her parents intend to hire a campaign manager to ensure that Madeleine’s plight remains firmly in the eye of the public.
Reports suggest that Gerry McCann will be responsible for the appointment of the campaign manager and that he will probably return to the UK to interview potential candidates.
With the return to the UK of the McCann’s foreign office liaison officer and no replacement likely for a week, and the last Police press conference held a month ago on 15 May, statements and information from Portugal are likely to be thin on the ground.
