There are plenty of styles to choose from this winter, so read on to find out what the fashionistas will be wearing this season.
With the Queen recently being named as one of the world’s most glamorous women by Vogue, tweed is the latest fabric to be seen in. Her Royal Highness was named alongside Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Sophie Dahl and Naomi Campbell. On the runways, the material was mixed with lame to give it a touch of star quality and the more form fitting, the better.
Those of us with not-so-great legs can breathe a sigh of relief as thick tights are one of THE items to be seen in this winter. Ribbed and in all the colours under the

sun, we are spoilt for choice! Team them with midi skirts (below the knee) and ankle boots or knee high boots for full effect.
Three colours which were seen again and again on the runways and in fashion magazines are grey, purple and black. Any shade goes.
Another great fashion staple that we cannot live without has reared its head this winter… huge knits – perfect for hiding under when you’re having an off day!

hem on skirts and coats. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I’m not so sure!
Thankfully the smock can now be put to the back of the wardrobe in favour of the feminine nipped-in waistline, particularly pretty on the skirt suit.
In recent years the fashion police have frowned on anyone wearing matching shoes, handbag, etc but this season, the more that matches the better. Victoria Beckham started this craze … now there’s a surprise.
As is usually the case when the party season approaches, glitz and glitter are all the rage but trendsetters are now saying we can wear metallics all year round! So brush off your sequinned trousers and tops, and don them with pride this season – but remember that subtlety goes a long way.
