Win spa treatments and dinner for two at EPIC Sana Algarve
Overlooking the beautiful Falésia beach in Albufeira, EPIC Sana Algarve hotel opened in March this year and has already built up an excellent reputation for holding prestigious events, such as techno opera and fairytale wonderland evenings, as well as taking part in both the Chefs Week and Spa Week, all attracting large audiences.
The Algarve Resident was invited to enjoy a day at the hotel’s Sayanna Wellness Spa and dinner at the Al Quimia Gourmet Restaurant.
With soothing music and a welcoming reception, we felt instantly at ease upon entering the spa and beginning our journey of relaxation.
We were able to select from an extensive menu of spa treatments enjoyed at top-class facilities, which include a Vichy Shower, couples treatment room with Jacuzzi and a bathing area. We donned our EPIC Sana robes and slippers and went upstairs to the spa area where we enjoyed a swim, the sauna, a hydrating Vichy Shower with Dead Sea Salt Scrub and an effective Griiva Massage followed by tea in the relaxation room.
The treatments and professional staff were excellent and our time at the spa left us just in the perfect mood to enjoy our evening meal. The Al Quimia Gourmet Restaurant is stylish and understated, with ambient music and lighting setting the intimate mood.
The menu and wine list have been created with great care and attention to detail offering a comprehensive selection at very reasonable prices.
The Sommelier is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and always happy to share entertaining stories from the producers.
We were presented with beautiful dishes made using only the finest local produce. Chef Luis Mourão and his skilful team produced a delicious three-course meal which was served by courteous and informed front-of-house staff. The combinations were an absolute delight.
The hotel’s facilities are open to both guests and Algarve residents.
