Upholding its philosophy to support culture as well as art, Galeria Arte Algarve in Lagoa is branching out – this time to embrace the “growing movement towards alternative health”.
Once a month, its Club Evening, held on Thursdays, will serve for holding talks, entitled “Health Matters”, introducing various holistic therapies, ideas and practitioners. The hope is that like-minded people will find a central base in the gallery from which to share similar concepts and interests.
The next Club Evening, on November 14, from 7.30pm, will introduce Guido Müller, former follower of the Indian guru OSHO, specialising in stress management. He uses a process called “precision muscle testing” to identify the root causes of clients’ stress.
It will be followed by an introduction to sound therapy presented by musician, composer and Reiki Grand Master Marc Requilé.
Admission to the double-event is €3.50. Tapas will be available for sale.
