A woman caught smuggling around 800 individual doses of heroine in her body was arrested by police near Madeira Airport on Wednesday last week.
The unemployed 28-year-old, resident in Madeira, is believed to be a “drug courier” or “mule”, as they’re called, and will now be interrogated for illegal possession and the transport of narcotics.
