Residents of the Algarve have often complained about the lack of service stations along the A22 (IP1). Earlier this year, Cepsa eased the problem by opening a service station on the motorway near the Lagoa exit. Now, Cepsa has opened two new service stations on opposite sides of the motorway, just past the Olhão exit on the way to Tavira and Spain. The services have been under construction since the beginning of the summer and have a café and parking area on site, as well as six pump stations.
