Figures reveal that 35 people have, so far, been arrested on suspicion of starting Portugal’s forest fires – 23 of whom were arrested in July. Only recently the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) in Porto arrested a 52-year-old man who was allegedly responsible for several fires in the concelho of Cinfães, in Viseu.
