Would you please convey my thanks to all who attended or, in some way supported, the annual Christmas lunch in aid of the Lagos Animal Protection Society held at Do Cais in the Lagos Marina, on Saturday, December 13? As usual, the lunch was well attended and the raffle well supported, not only by local businesses supplying prizes, but also by the people who bought the tickets. All prizes were incredibly generous and, once again, I thank all those who supplied them.
A special ‘thank you’ to the staff of Do Cais, and hosts Claire and Joe, who worked hard and with enthusiasm to make the day go smoothly and also provided excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere.
We raised an incredible 1,178 euros, which was an increase on last year’s total of 983 euros. The money will go towards the ongoing sterilisation campaign, this being the only humane way to keep down the unwanted births of hundreds of animals every year. Thank you all once again.
