When we launched our Resident Excellence in Business (REBA) awards earlier this year, we had no idea it would generate such interest. We have been inundated with nominations for the people and companies that have impressed you and overwhelmed with requests for tickets for the gala event – so much so that we have decided to upgrade the event to a bigger venue.
In order to ensure that the awards ceremony is as excellent as the companies that have been nominated, we are postponing the REBAs until February 2005. This gives you even more time to nominate any individuals or businesses that you believe deserve to be rewarded for their excellent products or services. The new date also means we have the opportunity to tie up with the ACCA Algarve children’s charity in order to raise funds for this excellent cause.
Over the next few months, we will be updating you on final preparations for the Algarve’s first ever local business awards ceremony. In the meantime, why not get involved? Nomination forms are available across the region or from The Resident’s offices in Lagoa. If you haven’t REBA’d yet, give it a go! It feels great!
