For the 10th consecutive year, Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis is hosting Portugal’s biggest veterans tournament, in terms of prize money. The Sovereign Series is attracting a stronger and larger field of national and international players each year. However, due to the large amount of prize money, less able players still have a good chance of being rewarded for their skills and effort.
The family friendly atmosphere at Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis, with its huge swimming pool and a lot of entertainment for children, makes it a very enjoyable weekend for both players and families. The total prize money of 8,000 euros has been made possible this year by a selection of five sponsors. The tournament is being held over four weekends in August.
• Hotel Carvoeiro Sol tournament:
August 6 to 9: Ladies’ singles and doubles 35+
• Elite Kitchens tournament:
August 13 to 16: Men’s singles and doubles 55+
• Algarvida tournament:
August 20 to 23: Men’s singles and doubles 45+
• McDonald’s tournament:
August 27 to 30: Men’s singles and doubles 35+
