A charity concert by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul (former Algarve Orchestra) and featuring baritone Rui Baeta is taking place on Friday, December 6, at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro, at 9.30pm.
The event is organised by Apatris21, the Algarve association for people with Down’s syndrome who will benefit from proceeds raised on the night.
Baritone Rui Baeta will be singing opera and music by the late Fado diva Amália Rodrigues.
The concert is supported by Turismo do Algarve and tickets, costing €10, can be purchased by calling the theatre on 289 888 110.
