An aeroplane from Portuguese airline TAP flying from Lisbon to New York had to make an emergency landing on a snow-covered landing strip in Gander, Canada, to let off a passenger who had a stroke midflight.
The passenger began to feel ill and was assisted by the crew members and two doctors who had boarded the flight.
As the passenger needed medical treatment at a hospital, the plane was forced to land at the nearest airport. Despite the tough weather conditions, the plane landed safely and the man was taken to the nearest hospital.
