Passengers disembarking at Faro Airport were in for a true gourmet treat when they were offered “tasters” of the best traditional dishes which the Algarve has to offer, prepared and cooked by eight executive chefs as part of the inauguration of the Algarve Chefs Week on May 9.
The event contributed €1 of the total price of each meal it served throughout the week to the CASA shelter for underprivileged people in Faro. The sum collected is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, a grand lunch prepared by the chefs for around 200 people supported by CASA will take place on June 1.
