It will be another weekend of strong winds and waves in Portugal – particularly on the west coast which has been battered since the beginning of the year.
Civil Protection services have warned of damage (yet again) to coastal structures with waves surging to heights of up to 13 metres in places.
The critical period appears to be between 9pm on Saturday evening and 6am on Sunday morning, with rollers still expected to batter the coast throughout the day on Sunday.
Winds could reach up to 60kph, with the occasional 90kph gust – with the worst of the weather centred in the North and Centre of the country.
