Tender to save Tavira church from ruin

A tender to carry out improvement works on Tavira’s Ermida de São Roque church, located near the fire department, has been launched by the town hall.
The revamp project, valued at around €230,000, aims to prevent further degradation of the church – dating back to the 16th century – and will include improvements to its ceiling, walls and pillars. Work is expected to begin in October and last around a year.
