State swindling is on the up. Diário de Notícias has reported 755 cases of fraud within the national health and social security services in the first six months of this year – coming to an eye-watering €47 million. That’s 100 more cases less than in the same period last year.
The data comes from the Attorney General’s Office in Lisbon.
