Good news on the car exports front. According to new data released by the Portuguese automobile association, China is now the second principal market for vehicles produced nationally – having imported 15.2% of the 108,655 that came off production lines between January and July this year. This figure is only preceded by Germany which imported 21.6% of vehicles made in Portugal. Other markets include France (13.8%) and UK (10.2%).
