Today (Monday) and tomorrow six districts are on yellow alert due to ongoing high temperatures.
IPMA – the institute of sea and atmosphere – sounded the warning for Braga, Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu, Guarda and Castelo Branco, all of which will be visited by temperatures of “around 35º”.
Meantime, Beja is expected to see thermometers rise to as much as 38º. In the Algarve temperatures are not expected to rise beyond 30º.
