A small plane (similar to the model shown) has crashed into the ocean near the coast of Sagres. Its pilot is still reported to be missing. The plane crashed this morning at around 11am.
Reasons for the incident are being investigated.
Initial news reports suggest the pilot was a 65-year-old Portuguese man.
Authorities have already located a certain amount of wreckage.
