Portimão and Tavira announced this week that they will be providing financial support to students this school year.
While Portimão council – “despite its financial difficulties” – will be supporting over 1,300 children from local kindergartens and primary schools, Tavira has already granted 24 university scholarships to the tune of over €37,000 during a ceremony at the town hall on Tuesday (September 16).
