A Christmas concert in support of three local charities is taking place in Ferragudo Church on December 21 at 5pm. It is organised by Ideias do Levante (Lagoa cultural association), in partnership with Lagoa municipality and Ferragudo parish council.
The concert will see performances by the Coral Ideias do Levante and Coro Internacional de Aljezur, both conducted by Francisco Brazão.
There are no tickets or reservations, but each person attending the concert is asked to leave a donation to support the SOS Oncológico – Unidade e Equipa Comunitária de Cuidados Paliativos do Algarve (cancer and palliative care association), CAI – Centro de Apoio a Idosos de Ferragudo (elderly support centre) and Fábrica da Igreja de Ferragudo (church association).
