A British man was brutally beaten and robbed on Tuesday (January 27) while birdwatching in Santa Luzia, Tavira.
TVi’s Jornal das 8 reported that the man was found covered in blood and in serious condition when he called for help. His belongings had been stolen. The man was then taken to Faro Hospital at around 1pm but his condition is unknown.
PJ police have today confirmed they were investigating the assault but did not give any more details.
