Three appeals from key figures detained in Operation Labyrinth – the case into alleged corruption in the issuing of Portugal’s Golden Visas – are being considered by Lisbon’s appeal court judges.
Former SEF boss Manuel Jarmela Palos is appealing against his detention under house arrest, while former president of the notaries institute António Figueiredo and Chinese businessman Zhu Xiaodong are both appealing against their detention in jail (see: https://www.portugalresident.com/golden-visa-corruption-scandal-continues-to-rock-portugal)
