Lisbon’s Chef Kiko will be at O Terraço restaurant, located at Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel in Sagres, to impress diners with his culinary skills on February 28 at 8pm.
Presenting a five-course menu, the chef will prepare dishes such as ceviche with sweet potato purée, fish quinoa and veal cheek with bulgur, mushroom and beet, all accompanied by a selection of Herdade da Malhadinha wines
After graduating in Marketing Management in 2003, Chef Kiko quickly realised that his future would be in the kitchen. He left for Paris in 2004 to study at the Cordon Bleu Cooking School and worked in famous restaurants like Ledoyen, AM Le Bistro, The Fat Duck and Eleven.
In 2008, Chef Kiko departed on a culinary journey around the world that led to the publication of the book Eat the World.
Back in Portugal, in 2013 he opened the restaurant O Talho in Lisbon and was invited to join the Chefs’ Academy, participating in the Portuguese television show while still teaching at the Chefs’ Academy Kids, a cooking school for children.
In 2014, Chef Kiko opened a second space in Lisbon – The Cevicheria – where he developed new ways to eat fish.
