Silves’ Mascarenhas Gregório theatre will be the venue for a night of Cante Alentejano – the traditional form of Alentejo music that was considered Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in November – this Saturday (March 7), starting at 9pm.
The performers for the night include Grupo Coral e Etnográfico ‘Os Camponeses de Pias’, Rancho Coral e Etnográfico de Vila Nova de S. Bento and Grupo Coral Alentejano de Tunes.
Admission is free.
