The first Spring Garden Fair held by the Mediterranean Gardening Association is taking place on Saturday, April 11 in the rural setting of the Quinta da Figueirinha, near Silves, from 11am to 5pm.
There will be small and specialist nurseries, book sales and advice from members together with tours of the quinta. “This will be an opportunity to see a different range of plants from those offered at the Autumn Garden Fair,” said organiser Rosie Peddle. There will be specialist succulent nurseries, drought tolerant perennials, fruit trees and shrubs.
