After the weekend’s sweltering temperatures in many parts of the country, Portugal is set for more unsettled weather, including rain and thunderstorms, IPMA has confirmed.
The national institute of sea and atmosphere says the high temperatures experienced over the weekend will now start dropping, but the depression that is causing all these changes is likely to bring a lot more cloud, rain, thunderstorms… and even the possibility of hailstones!
Worst affected districts are Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu, Leiria, Guarda, Coimbra, Castelo Branco and Santarém.
