Number of Portuguese studying in USA and vice-versa is growing

The number of Portuguese students studying in the USA and vice-versa has increased 4.3% and 61.4%, respectively, according to statistics from the American Embassy in Portugal. There are 941 Portuguese students in the US, while the number of Americans in Portugal is up from 197 last year to 319. US Ambassador to Portugal Robert Sherman says youngsters who learn different cultures are the “best ambassadors” a country can have.
