Portimão is investing €70 million to upgrade the neglected central reservation on the town’s V6 avenue.
Works will take place on a 2.6km stretch between the Pedra Mourinha and Três Castelos roundabouts, and are expected to last up to three months.
Council sources say there should be no affect to traffic.
