São Brás de Alportel council has announced the start of the public consultation period for a project to build a business park in São Brás de Alportel.
The ‘plano de pormenor’ (detailed plan) can be consulted between Monday, April 30 and Saturday, May 28 and aims to give locals and entities a chance to voice their opinions about the plan.
The council says the project is “strategic” for the economic development of the borough as it hopes to “attract investment, create jobs and generate wealth”.
The plan is to build the business park on a 17.94-hectare plot of land in the Mesquita Baixa area, with 25 commercial units marked out for companies in the industry, commerce or services sectors.
The ‘plano de pormenor’ can be consulted at the council’s urbanism division at town hall or online at www.cm-bras.pt
