A Zumba class will take place at Carvoeiro’s amphitheatre, near the church, on Friday, June 29 between 7.30pm and 9pm.
Included in Lagoa council’s ‘Programa Viva +’, the event aims to promote physical activity while also showcasing the work that has been developed as part of the programme.
There will also be activities for children so that the whole family can take part.
Anyone can sign up for free at Lagoa’s municipal pavilion.
Zumba is a popular fitness programme that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. It has become very popular in Portugal.
