A police manhunt was launched after a ‘depressed man’ shot his wife dead on Tuesday morning. José Figueiredo, 53, was described as “reacting badly” to his wife’s “insistence” that he seek medical help. He shot her in the chest at the couple’s home in Figueira da Foz early in the morning and then went ostensibly on the run. He was finally located by his brother near a family property.
