Four Spanish tourists rescued from beach

Maritime police rescued four Spanish tourists, including a baby, who had become stranded near Albandeira beach in Lagoa on Monday (August 27).

The holidaymakers were enjoying a walk along the beach when they decided to visit a part of the beach that is only accessible when the tide is low.

However, they became stranded when the water started rising and had to be rescued by the crew at Ferragudo’s maritime rescue station.

Due to the state of the sea, the crew decided to rescue the tourists by jetski.
