PJ criminal police are investigating the “strange and violent” death of a 57-year-old man who was found near one of the banks of the Arade River in Silves with “five deep holes in his head” on Saturday.
Correio da Manhã reports that police believe are “strong indications of homicide”.
José Nunes, known locally as ‘Zé Prego’, lived in a small house with a friend, who said he was “surprised” when GNR police told him about what had happened.
