Vilamoura’s luxurious Pine Hills condominium and Loulé’s Ombria resort were among the winners at the 2018 European Property Awards, recognised as the most prestigious award ceremony of the sector in Europe.
Pine Hills was awarded in the category of ‘Apartment Portugal’ while The Viceroy at Ombria was named ‘Best New Hotel Construction & Design Portugal’ and Viceroy Residences at Ombria was the winner in the category of ‘Best Residential Development Portugal’.
Pine Hills is a private condominium located in Vilamoura with 55 villa apartments situated on almost 20,000sqm of land.
The Viceroy will be the main hotel of the Ombria resort, which is due to open in 2020 and will feature 76 luxury rooms and suites, while Viceroy Residences will include 65 tourist apartments.
There were many other winners in Portugal as well.
Lagos real estate company Casas do Barlavento won an award in the ‘Real Estate Agency Portugal’ category, while Fine & Country Portugal received five-star status in the ‘Best Real Estate Agency Portugal’ and ‘Best Real Estate Agency Marketing Portugal’ categories.
Portuguese online portal PortugalProperty.com was also granted five-star status in the ‘Best Real Estate Agency 5-20 Offices Portugal’ and ‘Best Real Estate Agency Website Portugal’ categories, while PortugalHomes.com was named the grand winner in the ‘Best Real Estate Agency Website Portugal’ category.
The European Property Awards are a continental segment of the International Property Awards, which are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe.
They celebrate the “highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry”. According to organisers, an International Property Award is a “world-renowned mark of excellence.”
The awards are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, UK and USA. Participants enter at their relevant national level and are judged by a highly-experienced team of professionals who cover the whole range of property disciplines.
