It took less than eight hours to sell the 60,000 tickets that were available for Ed Sheeran’s headlining concert in Lisbon on June 1, 2019. Demand was so high that the British singer has scheduled another concert for June 2.
Tickets for the second show are already being sold and are also expected to sell out quickly.
Both shows are taking place at Benfica’s home stadium Estádio da Luz.
Ticket prices range from €59 to €90. Only four tickets can be sold per person.
The Lisbon concerts will be part of a 2019 summer tour that will also include shows running throughout May, June, July and August in France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, Czech Republic, Latvia, Russia, Finland, Denmark and Hungary.
Ed Sheeran is one of the world’s best-selling music artists, having sold more than 26 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide.
