Six people were arrested in the Algarve following a mega drug bust involving GNR police forces from almost all over Portugal with the support of PSP police.
They are suspected of selling drugs, “namely hashish and cocaine”, in towns in the Eastern Algarve, especially between Bordeira and Tavira. Four of them will await trial in jail while the other two were released.
The operation took place on Friday (September 28) and involved nearly 30 searches in Faro, Olhão and Tavira.
