In a bid to make it easier to spot pedestrian crossings, Portimão council will be carrying out improvement works at zebra crossings throughout the town.
The works will involve repainting the crossings and installing LED lighting, which is activated with movement sensors. They will be carried out at the crossings on the V6 avenue near Maxmat, Avenida Miguel Bombarda, Estrada da Rocha, Estrada de Alvor, Avenida 25 de Abril and Rua Jaime Palhinha.
