A 3.3 magnitude earthquake, with its epicentre located 9km northwest of Silves, rocked many parts of the Algarve this Thursday morning (January 31) at 12.24pm.
The powerful quake was felt for only a few seconds in Lagoa. People have also reported feeling the ground shaking in Silves, Portimão and as far as Aljezur and Loulé.
