Lagoa will be hosting another ‘LagoaBIO’ market on Saturday, August 31 between 8am and 1pm.
The event takes place in the town centre and centres on “local, alternative and healthy products”.
Stalls are set up along the town’s streets with a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, and other organic products. Also planned is street entertainment.
According to organisers, the goal is to “bring the Lagoa community and neighbouring areas together, inviting everyone to adopt a healthier lifestyle”.
Calvário, a nearby village, will also host its own ‘LagoaBIO’ market on Saturday, September 14.
